Social media is quickly becoming a key part of many business marketing strategies. Compared to traditional 'mass marketing' methods, social media can often provide a more personal interaction with existing and potential customers. However it is essential that like any other type of marketing, a business must have a clear strategy and aims for using such mediums. A poor approach to social media could be detrimental to a company's reputation, therefore it is essential to take the correct approach. ;
This event will include three speakers covering the technical, PR and business aspects of using social media. They will discuss the key considerations that must be made when engaging in social media and explain how to use the technology from a practical viewpoint.
